One day after Yusmeiro Petit signed with the Athletics and set the Relief Pitching Market, a frenzy of moves have been made. Some teams are still waiting on the Shohei Ohtani sweepstakes to end before making their next move, but the teams who aren’t even bothering have started to map their team for the next season.

The Arizona Diamondbacks made a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays in which they added Brad Boxberger to their bullpen in exchange for minor league Pitcher Curtis Taylor.

Boxberger ended last season 4-4 with a 3.38 ERA over 29.1 innings in 30 games. Coming off a rough year last year he looks to return to 2014 form where he made the all star team in route to a 41 save season.

Angels traded for RP Jim Johnson and Minor league pitcher Justin Kelly from the Braves in exchange for international pool space money. Johnson finished last season 6-3 with a 5.56 ERA over 56.2 innings in 61 games.

The Braves moved quickly in replacing Johnson when they signed RP Rex Brothers to a one year deal avoiding arbitration. Brother finished last season 4-3 with a 7.23 ERA over 23.2 innings in 27 games.
