It looks like the Arizona Cardinals are getting ready to make one final push towards a super bowl run. This season was derailed by injuries such as Carson Palmer and David Johnson. This was a team that was projected to make a deep run in the playoffs this year.
The one high spot for the Cardinals this season has been Larry Fitzgerald who is on pace for his third strait 1,000 yard season. At 34 years old and with this being the final year of his contract, most thought he would retire.
So far this season Fitzgerland has 60 receptions for 677 yards and three touchdowns. These numbers are through ten weeks of the season. The Cardinals sit at 4-5 so far this season. They are attempting to save what they can out of this season without the key pieces to the team.
Re-signing Fitzgerald give the Cardinals one top weapon going into next year. Everything could go haywire this offseason anyway though if Palmer decides to retire or if the team gets decimated by injuries again.
