After a wild weekend of fights throughout the NFL, the fallout has begun. While the NFL has announced that both Bengals WR A.J. Green and Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey won’t be suspended, Buccaneers WR Mike Evans didn’t get as lucky.
A.J. Green three punches strait to the head of Jalen Ramsey after he pushed Green. Both were ejected and neither will be suspended. Green deserved a suspension after his actions on Sunday.
Mike Evans didn’t get as lucky as Green and Ramsey after a late hit on Saints CB Marshon Lattimore. Lattimore got into a verbal argument with members of the Buccaneers sidelines that eventually led to a small shove on injured star QB Jameis Winston. This prompted Evans to fly in and deck Lattimore.
Evans should have been ejected. He was not. Hat was a mistake by the officials at the time. The NFL came in and gave Evans a one game suspension which he plans on appealing.
